Quady3D extension privacy

Effective October 8, 2026. Operated by Quady3D AI.

Data handled by the extension

The extension reads only the model file contents and file name you choose, a model link you explicitly select, and your chosen export format. Files and selected link URLs are processed on your device to show and convert that model. Quady3D AI does not receive those files, file names or model links.

Local model files

Viewing, inspection, conversion and screenshots happen on your device. The extension does not upload your models, collect browsing history, send analytics, or contain advertisements. It remembers only your chosen export format in local browser storage. It does not store your model files. Expanding a popup into a full tab transfers the selected file between extension pages in memory; it does not upload or persist that file.

Model links

When you choose to open a model link, the extension requests access to that specific site's origin. It downloads only the model you selected. The website receives the ordinary network request and your IP address. Credentials are omitted. Access can be revoked in Chrome's extension settings. Files referencing separate external resources are rejected.

Quady3D website

Buttons that open Quady3D include campaign parameters identifying this extension and the button placement. They do not include your model, file name, model URL or browsing history. Website analytics, account creation, uploads and paid AI generation are governed by the Quady3D website privacy policy. No upload or generation starts from clicking a website link.

Permissions

Context menus add a preview action to supported 3D model links. Optional site access is requested only when you click to load a linked model. Local file viewing needs no site access.
