How does this vector to 3D converter work?
It reads filled SVG shapes and extrudes them into meshes with optional beveled edges. It centers the artwork and fits its longest flat side to about three model units; extrusion depth is kept separately.
Why does my SVG produce no shape?
Stroke-only drawings and live text have no supported filled contours here. Expand strokes and outline text in your editor, remove unsupported layers, then export SVG again.
Do holes and colors survive the conversion?
Supported filled paths retain their hole contours and solid colors. The example ring has an actual open center. Complex self-intersections, gradients and overlapping layered artwork require separate checking.
Can I export STL or an animated SVG?
This page exports static GLB and an OBJ/MTL package. It does not export animation or an editable SVG. Use SVG to STL for a millimeter-sized geometry-only print workflow.
Is this free, and is my input uploaded?
The tool and its exports are free, with no sign-up or generation credits. Your selected artwork or typed text is processed locally. Loading the page and its libraries still uses network requests.
